The case for real

The case for real

You meet the most remarkable people in this business. We recently had a shoot with a cancer survivor that was willing to share, not just her story, but her point of view on life. The feelings that storytelling generated stayed fresh long after the cameras stopped rolling.

When people talk to us, they often focus on the AI aspect of the business. And that's great, we're proud of building something unique and powerful. But we always remind them that these tools are "complementary" not "supplementary". We incorporate them into our workflow, we use the modern tools at our disposal to enhance our understanding and our work. But ultimately, human instinct and human eyes need to guide them.

Without that, you get an uncanny valley of simulated creativity that people can easily dismiss. With a human behind the wheel, you can create a moment that lives on in your head.

So, yes, get your gen rolling to replace the sky, remove that unapproved logo. Analyze a hundred survey responses to find a subtle bias to attack. But never lose the eye behind it all or risk losing the eyes you reach in the end.
